The Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition (TOAE) art shows and galleries. Quality art work of established artists, and craftspeople features undiscovered talents and innovative students side by side. TOAE is a juried showcase featuring contemporary fine art and craft that takes place annually on Nathan Phillips Square, every July. TOAE is a charitable, non-profit organization supported by a group of volunteers active in the art and corporate communities. Approximately 400 artists chosen from over 1000 applicants will be exhibiting their artwork in: painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, drawing, fibre, glass, jewellery, metal, mixed media, watercolour and wood. This year ART NOW promises to feature video and installation art. Over $30,000 in cash and prizes awarded each year. Also showing this year are artists from Workman Arts, Sketch and Creative Works Studio. Family Programming is also being offered this year.
